As Xertica consolidates its position as the #1 player in the cloud-based communication and collaboration space, it is looking for new opportunities by acquiring a company in the Software, Platform or Infrastructure as a Service space (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS). Its focus are companies that have a strong service offering that can be deployed to their existing customer base and sold through their regional sales team. Xertica is looking for a Corporate Development M&A Fellow that can help the company identify prospects for a potential acquisition and measure the impact of the transaction. Part of the role includes researching the cloud services market in Latin America, interviewing vendors and partners to understand the value proposition, develop a detailed sector overview and landscape, and build a model for financial impact of potential acquisition. The Xertica team wants someone with knowledge of technology markets (SaaS, Cloud computing, managed services, reseller, etc.), experience in sourcing and evaluating acquisitions (banking, PE/VC) and/or analyzing company operations (management consulting).
